About Nadia

A woman in long-term recovery with many years of personal and professional experience working with individuals and families.

Nadia earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Towson University in 2012, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and mental processes. From 2014 to 2017, Nadia worked as a court liaison for a substance use treatment center advocating for individuals in recovery with legal charges directly related to their substance use. In 2019, she completed her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, equipping her with advanced skills and knowledge to provide effective therapeutic support.

Extensive experience as a clinical supervisor for a substance use treatment center, outpatient mental health treatment, and school social work.

Her approach is client-centered and tailored to meet each client's unique needs, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systems Theory, and Strengths-Based Approach.

As a clinical supervisor, she also provides guidance and support to aspiring therapists, helping them develop their clinical skills and achieve licensure.

Nadia believes in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. Her goal is to empower clients with the tools and insights needed to navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. Together, she works with clients to build resilience, enhance their strengths, and foster a sense of well-being.

Areas of interest include addictions recovery, adult children of alcoholics, motherhood, life transitions and codependency.
